Fuel reg mounting?

Just fitting my facet pump and filter king reg, the mallpassi glass bowl type. Does it matter how near or far away from the carbs the reg is? i'm thinking of mounting it near the o/s inner wing on the lip, would it be ok there?

Just wasnt sure if it needed to be right near the carbs or not

I'd say it would be fine.
Most people bolt them to the suspension turret or something around there.

Except ill have to move it when a strut brace is purchased lol, ill show you a pic when its all done mate ;)
