wot sort of money am i lookin at to get the bottem end lightened and balanced, ans a lightin'd fly wheel, for a gte bottem end, also i may need low comp pistions and conrods. also wot are arp bolts like? wot sort of bhp will i gain from this?

No bhp.
ARP bolts just keep the rods bolted to where they should be,Lol, and lightening/balancing just allows the engine to rev up quicker, due to less inertia.

i got a qoute on mine today. lighten and balance the flywheel, balance the crank new piston rings and all new bearings + full rebuild ?240

Depends who does it.
I think ARP bolts alone are about ?70/?80.

Why will you need low comp pistons on a N/A engine?

Completly no need for low comp pistons.

Oh, and you can't get Low comp Con-rods lol. The rods on an 8v are fine as they are.

I suggest you go to a library, get a book about combustion engines and engine tuning , and have a good read. You'l probably find all these questions have simple answers, and you wont be asking stuff that's been asked 500000 times before. Also you'l be less likely to get completly shafted by someone, as you should have a vauge idea of what your talking about.

well ive bin lookin at gettin a turbo conversion for a gte engine, and you always see on rs turbos they got low comp pistorns

But in your post you wrote T40s, cam etc, so i thought you were T40ing a 1600.
