When the car is sitting idling the fuel gauge goes to empty and engine cuts out, but when you are moving it runs fine although the gauge is in the red. i then turned the ignition off completely and back on and it started idling fine and the fuel gauge went up to over quarter of a tank. turned on the ignition and then gauge started going up past the red, turned the engine on and it started going down again.
is this the fuel sender???
