Contacted a company in leicester today and they quoted me ?1000 for a fitting a C20let engine in my nova getting it running and also includes engine bay strenthened, bigger brakes fitted and suspension altered to cope with the extra weight. Just need the engine now. :thumb: ps can anyone beat that.

Ye, DIY can beat it,Lol.

Personally i'd never pay that, but i guess if you dont want/cant do it yourself, then its alrate, if it includes everything with the fitting, the shafts etc?

ditto.

I reckon you could blag some LET owners off here who could do a pukka job & the ?1000 would be a bonus.

please tell me you were quoted for labour & consumables, not a drive in drive out including engine job?

errr that wont be including engine, you can sell c20lets for well over a grand on their own all day long.

Get a written quotation detailing all work envolved and make sure he signs it before starting the work.

You could also give him a copy so it works the same way with you paying.
