Some qustions about track car parts and mods

Hi, i'm a guy from norway and my english stinks, have some questions for my next nova track car prodject.

I have a C18XE whit a turbo kit, and i thik that the car need som stich weld and som strength, but can somebody tell me where the strengthning should be done? and if there is som plating kit on the marked?

The other question is what i should do whit the interrior. Thinking of going crazy and just have a cage, 1 bucket seat, no dash, plexi or perpex windows. Low weight is important for me.. Maby removing the cupeheater and remove the whater box,, but what should i do whit the front screen wiper motor if i remove the water box??

And at last, what gear linkage do this guy use? looks nice and i want to do the same...

Ohh, one question, what is more idle to use as an track car? mk1 or mk2?

Normally people stitch weld the seams in the engine bay, and add this plating kit

The linkage is a harry hockly/quaife gear linkage http://www.hh-ms.com/

you could use a motor that mounts directly to the wiper to get round that.

mk1/mk2 makes no difference, just find a strong mint shell.
