I've seen about 5 L-reg novas in stoke-on-trent alone.
So theres obviously a lot more than 12.

what difference does it make? Bodyshell condition is far more important than the age/reg of the car!

I read in PVG mag a few years back that there were 30 L-reg GSi's. Not sure how true that is tho?

The bodywork condition of the merit is terrible, the other one looks ok, just need a few bits returned to standard to make it look a bit better.

Neither seem particularly genuine.

L reg would just be a status thing. The novelty would wear off quickly.

All L reg gives you is a little rareity (and recognition amonst those in the know) and more choice of a personal plate.

i ve got l reg gsi and the shell is mint as is the car.it was owned by enthusiast so it was probably looked after better because it was L reg

I sent a message to the guy selling the red one asking how much he wanted if he got to keep the wheels, interior and engine. I think i offended him as ive had no reply lol

only good thing for a and l reg, is that if you have a personal plate,

cant have it starting with 'L' other than that, i'd go for condition of shell over reg letter

Same here i would sooner drive round in a A-Reg with no rust or damage than a L reg nova like them, as said above it would soon were off!!
