facelift + gsi bumper

I have bought a facelift kit and I will be getting a gsi bumper soon as well. The thing is, I have heard that I will need a new iron bar?? is this true and how can I fit it? I have also been told I can keep the carriage bar is this true?

yes you can keep the bar u have but u will need to space it with sum washers. the gsi bar is longer (the l shaped bits that gointo the chassis) if u use a standerd bar u must space it or the grill will tend to bow down in the center and look crap

yeah i had the same problem with mine get some 2 inch coach bolts with square bits on under the rounded head. i then used big 17 mm nuts they should slide over the threads to the back saves buying new irons the old carriage bar is fine.
