having purchased a gsi with fortys i was wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of mile per gallon i can expect, i havnt got the engine in a good shell yet and cant work it out my self as its not roadworthy. i do alot of motorway miles ( aberdeen to falkirk and back every week ) and think it will cost a wee tad more to run than my 1200! i dont want to do a conversion with my 1200 nova to find out i cant afford to run it and having heard the 40s on the 1600 im itching to get it on the road. any help ? cheers
