imho, a V6 Nova is pointless. Not much more really power/speed, only difference is the noise..

my mate has just built one its took ?23k and 4 years to do but it is mint and the speed is very worrying.160mph easy..do it if not for the noise but the power.he done it roughly the same as an xe conversion.it has a xe conversion kit but then you need a slim rad and fan just the bits i can think of.

wtf did he spend 23k on? my c20let 6 speed corsa wont even do 160mph. If i was to do a V6 it would be with the saab V6 turbo one as they are the same par the turbo pretty much. Not sure how much room would have for the turbo in the novas engine bay as they are tighter than the corsa.

hi,
i also wanted to do this conversion but after looking into it i worked out it was pointless,no extra power, more understeer more weight they drive ****e as factory spec only good thing is the noise! has anyone explained to you that you wont be able to use v6 inlet because it fouls on the rack so slimline rad and fan is least of your worries really. then you have the engine mounts to think of and the clearance. even running f and r arb's and strut braces it will still handle like mr beans pants if you get the pic lol.
you'd be far better off just pitching the money into c20xe... and as for the noise have you heard a nova with c20xe on carbs???better than sex with a ginger bird!!!lol
