i was wondering if any one had changed there rear beam for a cavalier one i was wondering if you have to buy new springs or shoks to fit the new beam or if the standard set up fits and will the rear beam just bolt on or do you have to do a lot of moddifieying it would be a big help if some one could get back to me thanks a lot ppl

Not possible to fit a cavalier rear beam, not without a lot of work changing the mounting points plus it would be miles too wide.
Just get the disks and buy/make a conversion kit to put the disks etc on.

No, Its a bit of a Urban Myth that the Astra and Cavalier rear Beams fit in place, Bollox, the size difference is HUGE!!! I have a How to somewhere on how to fit the Cav Brakes, I'll try and find it for you mate.

I would be interrested if u have how to do cav brakes to nova's rear beam. I all ready have cav brakes and beam but i haven't look at how to do it... I know is possible but do i have to weld on something ect. As you all know in "clubmans" kit there have been nova with disc brakes in rear beam.
