Apex shock and spring packages - any good? Im not looking for out and out performance handling, just to make things a bit tighter without a spine jarringly crashy ride! The car is only going for a 40mm drop and I don't want to lower on springs alone as my existing shocks are already a bit worn out, so I'm going to have to buy new ones anyway.

some apex fr & rear dampers on ebay for ?50 barely used. They have a good reputation. Buy springs carefully. That will determine the ride quality tbh.

can you just buy springs without dampers and fit to your old ones?

No, I need to replace the dampers anyway mate, and may as well get matched shocks and springs. -40 springs on their own won't do as much for the handling as -40 springs and stiffer shocks will. A mate was running -60 springs and standard shocks and gassed them out in a few months lol .

Thanks for the feedback everyone.:thumb:
