have i just broke my gear box

i just changed from second to third and it crunched so i tried again and it crunched it finally went in as i let the revs die down to tick over but its now really stiff in all gears and i have to let the revs drop right down beofre it will go in.

Has any one done this. is it the synchros that have gone

and if it is broken has anyone got an F20 for sale or similar to fit xe nova

thats wat happens on old trucks when the clutch goes so it could be the clutch maybe thrust bearing

Sounds like synchros to me.

syncros sound fine... i reckon youve broken a baulk ring and the bits have gone round the box.

drain the oil out, if its REALLY glittery with gold then its a baulk ring, if its very silver then its something a little more sinister
