I bought this yesterday.after a 525mile round trip!
after searching for a decent clean gsi for last few months i came accross this

very clean example with only 3 owners from new,never been welded any where and only 79k with full sh


the wheels and suspension are going in favour of some speedlines and avo coilovers other than that not sure what else i will do with it

Looks well worth the trip, can't be many like this left!

Good plans aswell apart from I'd stick Comp Mo's on!

Id be temped to put it on standered alloys... if i could get decent brakes under them id def have them on mine

yeh i like it alot.wish it was white though!
being l reg was bonus but it was reflected in the price i paid!


i'll put some more pics up after the weekend once the speedlines and coilovers are on.

some bigger brakes are also required

uprate brakes to astra ate ones, speedlines, supension and then leave well alone!

derust and check sealer on the underside and treat as a rare example of a mint GSi. Would be a shame to ruin it - dont strip it out or roll cage it or owt - that would be so wrong!

That looks a very nice Nova mate I would of kept the other alloys on it but still looks nice :thumb:

Looks like a clean motor that Paul. Silver always looks good on a nova. Definately prefer the speedlines over the tantrums. What else you got planned?

quite a few parts have been bought as i will be converting it to 2l 16v.

a few bits have been done ie headlamp washers,new number plates,coilovers have been rebuilt/refurbished at avo,bailey header tank,

and have quite few other things to do and i will keep updating the thread when i can.

erm yeh i know the lad who bought it and someone ran into the back of it, and i think he just got sick of it because he had only had it a week or so.so he sold it to another lad in cumbria and am not sure whats happened to it now!

I hope i dont get hold of one of these as you'll all linch me when ive finished with it lol

Lovely car mate, looks perfect. Only thing id do now is get rid of the clear rear lenses and fit some euro rears with no reversing light (thats if i didnt do what i always do and strip it out and rape it on a circuit somewhere lol)
