Hi peeps
I have a 1.0 litre mk2 life. Today I aquired an SR instrument panel but the bloody connectors seem different :(!?!:(
How can u install it (if at all)??
It is the mk2 type dials.

Weird...the MKI ones just swap over!
Do both dial units have the same kind of black connector, or is it a different size hole on the SR clocks?
On the MKI, the black connector is the same, but the unit has two extra wires (Oil-pressure and rev-counter), that connect separately to the black-connector block.
The MKII SRi doesn't have the oil pressure gauge though, do they, so I'm surprised they don't just swap straight over, as that and the rev-counter would be the only differences.
You'll need a wire run from the coil to operate the Rev-counter BTW.
Since you can easily fit an Astra LCD dash, I can't see it being hard at all to fit the SRi clock!

This seems weird, i just plugged my clocks straight in apart from having to run a wire to the coil for the rev counter.

i know exactly wot u mean the 1 litre has a 14 pin connector, and a spare wire with a male spade on it, but the sr clocks only have a 12 pin connector. I just put my old dials back in.
