Hi there just thought id add part 2 to this, as alot of you probably remember the thread named CHAV NOVA?....here is part 2.

Recently speaking to the owner of the ultimate chav nova, pick n mix style, as sum1 else had said..

As usual he tryed to abuse my nova n myself, but got nowhere, when he let me know wat engine he had just dropped in it, as some of you know was a 1.4, by 1.4 he meant a 1.4mpi, which he claimed to be 55bhp and fast as F***, hmmmm must be with those 18's and super fast engine, well i spose it is when hes racing the 1.0 corsa's and saxo's round town.......

Then again i mentioned the Small shopping list down his door, (made me laugh) as he said well its some of the things that are in or on his car, if some of u would like to look back at his car you will see it says

FALKEN
SPARCO
COBRA
Pioneer
INFINITY

Now i sed right well you clearly dont have SPARCO or COBRA seats or even harness pads in there, as for PIONEER and INFINTY i dont know but he claims his 6x9's are PIONEER, So im like yeh....and wat about the INFINITY down ur door. As for Falken i couldnt see, but its probably not on their either.

After all that, he gave up on arguing about his car......

And started the good old yeh and so's ur mum, childish chav we have here lol

Thanks for your time.

Brilliant tyres! There cheap, soft and grip. Where's the down side?

Lee

They last five minutes and they turn into Utterly butterly in the wet! Theres two downsides! lol

Dar
25-07-06, 11:18 AM
They last longer than 5mins.........silly boy its more like 10mins:p
They last very well considering though. I always buy them for my 306 and the current set have been on there two years now:thumb: Also I don't like having old tyres on my cars. I would rather buy a tyre that wears down quicker so that I can get a new set on.

As for the wet, they ain't the best but also far from the worst. However they get worse in the wet once you've worn them down a fair bit.

Why would anyone advertise the stuff they have or in most case's don't have on there cars. Seems pointless to me but then again if thats what they want to do. Its up to them. I still stand by my statement that Falken tyres are NOT bad at all. Not the best but then again your not paying a massive prenium for them.

But the funny thing is, is that why put shoppin list on your car of things that first you aint got, and second arent actually that good.....

I'm with Dar on this one - I've got FK451's on the front of the Celica at the moment, and the Kazeras have a set of FK452's on there. They're fantastic tyres, and compare favourably to the Eagle F1s I have on the back (which were on the front) - and are about half the price!

Forget the ZE512s and all that jazz, they're the budget poo ones iirc

I dont know much about tyres myself, as ive never really got the chance to test durability, as cars been off road for months now...

Will find out soon tho i spose.

Thanks RazorJack - I also use FK451's and they are a good tyre.

As for the shopping list's on cars. I also don't see the point. But then again different people like different things. Just like body kits and the like. Me I just want my car to go fast and I really don't care what it looks like...to a point. But other people don't care what the car goes like as long as it looks like it will do umpty million miles an hour.

I blocked him before, but he had another email lol, n started chattin to me on that, wouldnt suprise me if he had Hundreds, as he gets sooo used to poeple Blocking him all the time lol.

Well my experience of them (a full set on my Cavvy and another set on the Jetta) tells me to avoid like a bout of piles! The fact that you still have a set on the Pug tells me you are driving it like a girl, and you need me to come round and teach you how to drive it properly lol lol

Seriously though, i agree they do grip well, but the rate they went off from moderate aggressive road use was startling, i think they lasted 4 months on the cav, and i replaced the fronts with budget kumos and they lasted over a year (ok, so i had even LESS grip in the wet then, but at least the tread hung about for christmas!)

Dar
25-07-06, 07:57 PM
 Drive like a girl?
Its just the fact that I actually drive a decent car with decent handling and not some POS barge that obviously understeers way to much and is driven like a monkey with lead boots on.

Why not just run on the fecking rims and not bother to run tyres in the first place. That way you wont ever have to worry about tyre wear. The grip will be ****e though:thumb:

Honestly to get decent grip your tyres will wear more. For the price to perfomance they are good. Also when on the road you shouldn't be breaking the speed limit and sliding/wheel spinning all over the place anyway:p

Lee
25-07-06, 08:06 PM
lol, monkey with lead boots on?! Whatever Dar, im sure you are the be all and end all of safe road driving. Why else would you have bought a GTi6? Surely if you wanted a pile of turd with leather seats that fell to pieces every five minutes, you could have saved some money and bought an Austin Allegro Vandan Plas if you were going to never break a speed limit?

But no, you obviously deliberated long and hard about how to make yourself look like a div on the road, and came up with that. And to top it off, you bought your Mrs another Pug, obviously so you save the bits that fall off both of them and hopefully have one complete car when you come sell them?

Dar
25-07-06, 08:17 PM
Have you ever owned a Pug, especially a GTI-6??no, I thought not. So you have no real base for comparison and what your mates told you down the pub just doesn?t count:p ?.oh hang on you?re a monkey with lead boots on:tard: ?.so maybe it does in your world??Monkey Boy!:thumb:

I did take a long time choosing the GTI-6 and it has been the best car I have ever owned. It?s never let me down once. Not one piece has fallen off?.ever! So I really don?t know where you get the falling to bits rubbish from??ahh yes your mates down the pub. Pillock!

Bottlethroddy is your the blue nova that runs 16 second 1/4 mile times lmao

Lee
25-07-06, 08:29 PM
Well obviously yours will be surviving well, as your giving the impression its driven incredibly slowly. Why dont you try driving over drain covers and actually traversing a speed bumps without having to ride the clutch in first gear. I guarantee youll have to put a baseball glove on to catch all the flying debris!

And no, i havent driven a GTi 6, but im guessing its just a lardy 205 GTi with an extra gear which youve probably never used. I cant stand people who buy a car and then stand there and defend it to the hilt, saying its amazing. its like buying a mouldy apple by mistake and then eating it and saying its delicious!

Wake up and smell the turd

Dar
25-07-06, 08:43 PM
Yes mine is surviving well thanks:thumb: That?s because I look after it. You find that?s what happens when you look after things. I do drive careful, because I like my license. However the car will get the occasional blat in the lanes, because as you have so rightly put its pointless having a fast car and not using it. But having a fast car and blasting around all the time just makes you a cnut:D

I would let you drive mine, so that you may be enlightened to how nice they actually are, but im afraid that your lead monkey boots will just send us careering down the road with the tires smoking all the way. That is not quite how I would like the car driven:cuckoo:

6th gear does get used as well:roll:

So how did you manage a 16second ? mile time in a modified stripped out 2l 16v Nova. Was it the monkey lead boots?lol

DaveMarshall
25-07-06, 08:48 PM
His 16 second 1/4 was a practice run lmao

Lee
25-07-06, 08:52 PM
No, it was a dirty great big bang from the suspension actually, but seeing as your too scared to go anywhere near a dragstrip as 'your car just wasnt built for it', i suggest you stfu?

And why do Monkeys and Boots keep coming up in your posts? I knew you were a bit camp, but seriously, keep your morbid fetishes to yourself! No wonder you like to drive slowly if a Monkey in boots is involved. Try putting that on an insurance claim form! ' I was casually driving along the road when my lead boot clad gimp monkey bit a bit too hard on my bell end '

So thats why like diving so much too, its all the rubber isnt it?

Dar
25-07-06, 09:00 PM
Your right the 1/4 mile does not inspire me, so I don't bother. However im sure that I would get under 16 secs. I am also 100% sure that you would get under 16sec if you just left these
http://www.tyresmoke.net/attachments/252316-lead%20boots.jpg
at home:thumb:

The reason that monkeys and boots keep coming up in my posts is that im posting about you monkey boy, and no I don't want you to bite the tip off of my bellend thankyou very much!

I love driving, not because of the rubber but because of people like you. Your a fappin legend and a great person to be on the track with.

Ahhhhh I can finally reply now.

Good old James - his car is actually a C12NZ - 1.2 SPi 45 bhp with a carb style airbox.

Thats 45 bhp in a car on 18's....

He is a bit special (needs) if you ask me, the stuff he says on MSN is plain comical - some days he says he has a 1.6 ecotec, then the next a redtop, then the next a 1400sr engine with mad cam.

When you question his power figures the reply usually comes in the form of some disgusting sexual encounter with your mum??

Ive actually met this guy about 5 times - quiet as a mouse wouldn't say boo to a goose, nice lad really, just ashame he acts like a pisshead when behind a keyboard.

He got banned before his 18 months probationary period - 36 in a 30, then 56 in a 30 whilst pissed and high on weed.

Never mind he's getting his license back in a few weeks
