Removed the turret from my F15 box at the weekend. I noted what position the selector was in as it came off but upon fitting it back on I'm convinced something inside is not lined up as I cant select gears manually. How is it meant to go back on? Any procedure?

LOL.
Ive searched & found that I shoulve removed it whilst the box was in neutral. I didnt (I dont think). Someone on MIG reckons it shouldnt be an issue but I'm convinced the selector is stiffer. I havent forced it back on by anymeans, it bolted down with no resitance...

Can I manually engage neutral without the turret? Do I need to?

Sorry: Box Virgin.

just put the gearbox into neutral (all fingers aligned in the middle) and then bolt the selector ontop...

what tool or technique would you use to align the fingers?

my hands...... the selector fingers arent ahrd to move... OR use a screwdriver.
