Right, basically gettin new headunit, and sortin my whole stereo out again....

As for subs and amps, at the moment i have 2x 800watt subs (which im gettin rid of for a pioneer 3000w (1500wrms) sub........now for the time being im going to use my 2x12" subs.....Wat amp is best for this, 2 channel, mono or wat?

Then when i get my new sub, of which im only gettin 1, ill need a mono amp for that is that correct?

2nd......im also gettin new front componants, is it best to wire these to a seperate amp than my 6x9's, will be, so shall i get an amp to power front, and an amp for 6x9's, or just use one amp to power the 6x9's and the front speakers? how many channels is best for each option.

Sorry if u get confused, just say and ill explain slowly lol

What you could do is buy a powerful 2 chanell amp that is bridgeable. this is so that when you are running the 2 12" subs you can run them off 1 channel each. however when you get the pioneer that you were saying about you can run the amp with bridged channels to get evenmore power out of it.

For the components you should run them off a 4 channel amp with the setting relitively low and the amp set to a high frequency. this should stop any distortion and sound pretty good. I had a maystar qx 4 channel amp and used it for the same perpose and sounded quite good.

Hope this is any help to you mate (sorry bout the essay lol )

Does this mean i can use this one for the 2x12" subs, then when i get the single 12" pioneer one i can use the same amp? (see below)

The stunning TL-1091 delivers an enormous music power output of 3000 watts at 2 ohms (1500 watts per channel), and 2000 watts at 4 ohms (1000 watts per channel), and can bridge to deliver 1x2000 watts at 4 ohms.
This power is maintained throughout the entire range of audible frequencies, with a virtually flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 30 kHz. The TL-1091 also boasts superb detail and clarity, with a signal to noise ratio of 99 dB.

Thanks, Luke

And wud this be ok for the componants?

It is 4-channel but is bridgeable into 3-channels (to drive a pair of speakers and a subwoofer) or into 2-channels to drive 2 large speakers or 2 subwoofers.

Match the resistance of your speakers to the amp to figure out what power you're putting through them.

Eg:

My JL sub has an RMS rating of 300W. I've wired it to my mono Alpine amp so it presents a load of 4Ohms to the amp; as at 4Ohms the amp provides 300W so is matched to the sub.

I can get another JL sub and wire it in series so both subs present a 2Ohm load to the amp; the amp puts out 600W @ 2Ohm, i.e. 300W each.

yeh i just get confused at allthis Ohms and stuff lol, however much i think about it i get confused and forget

The sub is 1500watt RMS, so im trying to find an amp to suit that without having to spend much, while also being able to use the subs i have at the moment, till i get the new sub
