Forged pistons

as iv just ordered (well thursday) a turbo kit from mvaux for my x16xe

i want to do it right and fit Forged pistons mvaux sells them as well
Forged pistons for turboed X16XE/XEL engine in any compressio ratio you want: ?270
(measures: only 81 mm)
iv read some where that a 81mm piston in the x16xe bores it out to 1.8 is this correct

my engine spec is
x16xe
dilibis (spelling) inlet,
arp bolts
decat,
full syetem,
ill be running a high flow fuel pump,
high flow injectors

i would like to know what compression ratio i would need to run approx 12-15psi?

does that sound about right or am i talking ****e again lol

thats about 1bar peak? I reckon around 8- 8.5:1 would be safest, dont forget a huge intercooler!

right. the term "boost" being the pressure the MAP sees is merely a gaige on how BADLY the engine is consuming air. eg if your making cracking power and using minimal boost then your doing well ;)

also. what are the turbo compressor maps like, where do you want to make the power (low down rpm or 8K etc) it all makes a difference for the CR

anybody know the stoke of the x16xe

is its 87?

79mm bore 81.5mm stroke as standard according to haynes for the corsa, cr is 11:1
