I think it'll be a grower.

I'd do a love it or hate it poll but i'm not a "premium member"

Anyone fancy doing it?

Underlining just how important their new Corsa is the Vauxhall stand on press day is besieged by the new supermini. Every space is taken by three and five-door examples of the new car, several demonstrating the unique 'Flex-Fix' integral carrying system that pulls out from under the rear bumper to allow you to carry bikes safely. The range is extensive with 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4-litre petrol units as well as a 1.3-litre CDTi with either 70 or 90bhp, and a 1.7-litre CDTi with 125bhp. Prices start at ?7,495 making the new Corsa a strong contender in the supermini market.

Dont think they've done a sport as such.
CDTI 1.7 is the best of the bunch at the min.

There's also some speil about bluetooth enabled.

Humm if i was still working i would of gone down to Excel to work on the honda stand, thank god i was sick hate the frigging place..

They should move it back up to the N.E.C i say, loads more room for stands and easy to get to/park etc

And also i wouldnt have to stop away working down at that **** hole...lol

As for the car..hummm..not sure think it looks like a small version of the astra from side and rear but the front is not quite right them light s look iffy to me..

as always the sporty model will take a few months (or more) to come out.

Just looks like a squashed astra, seems the vauxhall family identity has gone a setp too far, now they just a 4-5 cars that all look the same expect for being in different proportions - no personality to each car.

Its a grower for sure. They always look different when theyve been on the road for a few months somehow.
Its better than the Corsa C though to be honest.

The VXR will no doubt take a year or so for the OPEL engineers to develop the chassis into a jelly mould in preparation for the sorted 1.6 16v turbo that was destined for the old Corsa.

Personally I prefer the 'maseratti-esque' new Punto that shares the same chassis & engines as this. It has style....

Not my cup of tea, but then it just looks like your generic modern small car. Yawn.

The vxr engine will be the z16let, as found in the current meriva vxr, Based on the z16xep found in the astra h.
Cracking engine knocking out 180 horses and chatting to an enginer recently, they've seen 200 with remaps, in the meriva.

Think it'll look better in the flesh, gonna be sick of the sight of them soon Lol!!!

I like it - its a baby astra with a hint of Grande Punto. Nice to See Vauxhall noving away from the corsa style which in my opinion had run its course...

This is muych sportier looking.

I wouldnt buy one though
