ive heard that using this fuel is better cause its got the same octane as 4* or somin like that, whould it b ok to just stop using shitty lrp and do a straight swop wiv super unleaded, and will it run eg do i need to do the timing etc the cars a 1.4sr on 40's

1.4sr heads are fine with super/ul but u are better off with shell optimax higher ron than super and more cleaners etc

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

why you using LRP???

You're fine to use unleaded.

I was using LRP up until recently. Its got a higher octane rating than ordinary unleaded, so us boys that have well modded engines can run properly without detonation. I believe LRP used to be slightly lower than super unleaded, but it was also cheaper. Now this Optimax has come out, I use that. I've been able to advance my ignition slightly without any sign of detonation, and I'm running better than ever.
