i want to replace the standard exhaust on my sri. i have got an asley system and manifold for an sr whereabout would i have to drill the lamda hole anyone got any pics please?

or

am i better off buying new manifold for the sri but will this fit the sr system:confused:

and is there any difference between exhaust systems for mk1 and mk2 because im sure they asked me the mk when i ordered??

Mk1 exhaust comes out at an angle.
SRi manifold wont fit the SR system.

You want the hole for the lambda putting on the side of the collector(where 4 pipes go into 1)
I have a pic of mine somewhere.

as stated above is bang on.
The SRi/GSi downpipe has a larger angle where it fits the Cat pipe, the SRs is straight. I fitted a SR system to my SRi, but i change the downpipe to an SR one (retaining the standard SRi manifold which houses the lambda.)

Mk1 and mk2 systems are cheifly the same. but like Long said the reason they asked mk1 or mk2 is for the back box (mk2s come out straight and under bumper, mk1s come out at angle to come thru the cut out in the bumper.)
