the bird has started driving lessons and she sez the 1.2 NEW corsa is really quick compared to the older one. its possiably a 16V. but my question is. What would be needed to drop a 1.2 16V new corsa engine into a nova?? one of my mates who works in a vauxhall garage sed the agilla is quite nippy and a "laugh" so the 1.2 16V sounds like a good engine!!

I appear to be rambling but hey ive jsut finished my stupid C programming assignment!! woo hoo

Should fit in no probs if 1.2i best of taking off injection and sticking on Webers youll need new clutch and gearbox
It is a fun project I am going to stick in a 1.4 16v corsa engine and the 1.2 16v corsa is much quicker that the 1.2 nova

Even if you stick carbs on it, you`ll still need the ecu for the engine timing.

yeah but you rekon a decent 1.416v lump will cost about ?100? very much doubt it even if the corsa boys are going to 2.0 there still worth shit loads more than that
and a brand new corsa 1.2 16v lump is gonna be twice the price ov the 1.4 16v
even second hand
