im going to my mates tomorrow for a nite out in his car hes leevin at 3:15 and were going to go round all night
smoking tyres that sort of thing
but i have a school detention i woild miss the going out but his car is a nova so no way am i missing thaa.
i need a plan to get out of it or sneaking out
any ideas?

I just never used to turn upto them, then all they would do is give you another, and another and another untill it gets to the point where they take you out of lessons, which i found was much more relaxing, as i just sat at the back of a class room reading max power or something for a couple of hours!:p

Easiest way out is just don't turn up. Then deal with the angry teacher the day after.

TBH, most teachers I know hate giving detention any way. It cuts down on their drinking time lol

im sorry but .............. wont be able to attend detetion tonight, i am aware what he has done is wrong but would ask that you postpone as our wee ............. is going out to get his first taste of kroozing instead, i will make sure he takes his school books to do some revision but sometimes the negative g force exerted on ones body through high speed cornrering can take its toll (ask the science depart.) the wee lad needs to learn this social skill and get all it out of his system before he actually drives himself - apoligys and im sure we can re-scehdule for a later date

If he was a real mate, he'd wait until the detention was over! I have worked in secondary education for 2 years and can honestly say that only a few teachers ever cared about pupils turning up for DT; ask if you can have the DT relocated to a more convenient time, or break it down into manageable chunks at lunch time! Failing that, don't turn up. When pupils wouldn't turn up for DTs in learning support, we weren't bothered as we could go home early!!
