i was pretty sure the xe had 150 brake and 150 ft/lb (give or take a few bhp/ftlb up n down depending on age/model (cat'ed etc))

Ah no loggy was closer lol

1990 Astra mk2 16v c20xe 1998cc 153 bhp at 6000rpm 150 lbf.ft at 4800rpm

Although when i had my xe nova first RR (with standard ecu, full stainless system itg inuction kit, standard engine mounts lol)
it put out 165 bhp 158 lbf.ft.

Yeah my 1st XE was dyno'd @ something like 166bhp & 162 lb/ft IIRC.

That one was very strong & pulled like the clappers. Must've been really loose. It was on nearly 160k miles then.lol

Always known it to be 145lb/ft of Torque on a standard engine

Thats probly the later CATed versions - As stated above the early non CATed Astras had 150 where as the later CATed ones had 145 (ish iirc) and the even later ones when back up to 150. (think the dispak models had a little more)

The quoted figer i posted is from a 1990 16v astra mk2...

The book figure on the astra mk3 in 1992 is 147bhp at 6000rpm and 144lbf.ft at 4800rpm

So i asume they differ due to cat systems c2o restrictions etc..
