drilling my 1.2 carb air box

is there any benifit. i know there will be fuck alll power but how about noise?? and also where and how many holes and what size should they be?? its a 1.2 12NV carbed heap. standard air filter unit :) cheers peeps

Well it does sound a little better, and u should get 2 or 3 bhp extra when ur rolling as u get more + colder air in ur box!!

M8 i'VE JUST DONE THIS TO MY 1.2i AND IT SOUNDS GREAT AND I'AM SURE IT MADE A LITTLE ACCELERATION DIFFERANCE TWO, I DRILLED ABOUT 30-40 8MM HOLES ALL AROUND THE SIDE OF THE BOX BUT NEVER PUT ANY IN THE TOP !! I WOULD DEFF RECOMEND THIS UNTILL YOU CAN GET A K&N FILTER
