the other day i was refurbing my cesaro alloy wheels an re-painting them, i got to the stage where i needed to clean all the baked on brake dust off. went in the garage and i was out of Auto Glym alloy wheel cleaner....DO'H. so i went in my kitchen to see what i could find.........mmmmmmm Cilit Bang!! remember the advert, it can clean anything apparantly. so i gave it a shot and it worked great. bear in mind aswell its a shed load cheaper than any auto glym or wonder wheels pants!

does'nt seem harsh enough to do that stuart, i tested it first on an old alloy and just left it for ages with no probs. I would say its not as harsh as wonder wheels, its just right. on another upside it smells nice too:)

it might be ok on the laquer, but if the laquer is damaged/bare alloy then things could go arwy...... not syaing it will but food for thought
