Carpet adhesive removal?

Ive just stripped out the back of my nova and was wandering waht people used to remove that carpet glue on the inside of the rear wheel arch?

Everything ive tried just doesnt seem to touch it!

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Someone must have forgotten that on mine! Any solvent and elbow grase should shift it.
