Need to get the SRi off of the drive so the mister2 doesn't have 2 stay on the road!!
Just to establish from the outset that this car is off-road and without MOT / tax due to the nearside front end of the chassis being bent back by 27mm (diagnostic diagram available).
This car has been my pride and joy since February 2005. It was sadly involved in a collision in November 2005 with a kerb, which has resulted in the car being off-road as it is.
I am selling this car as a complete lump, for spares or repair, I am keen to avoid breaking her as I don't particularly want to be burdened with the hassle of it all. I will list all of the spec for the car and be as honest as I can:
Engine: completely standard SRi engine; new low-mileage lump dropped into car in November 2005 - cost approx ?500 (2 weeks prior to accident!) no proof of mileage, but have been told that was around 57k. Engine absolutely sound with no oil leaks with injectors all working properly, engine can be seen running if desired.
Scorpion back-box and twin exit exhaust system fitted
Car lowered 40mm all round on G-Max lowering springs.
Bodywork: Generally; white chassis (good condition for age) with colour-coded black bonnet and rear spoiler.
MCR Rally front bumper with front fogs - Bumper was completely rebuilt/re-sprayed in July 2005 (?250.00) and fibreglass reinforced with steels. Currently requires new arms to fix through at wheel-arches, minor torque cracks from when car was towed onto flat bed (car too low!) meshed with top section of mesh sprayed white, all generally OK.
Custom built rear bumper - Flushed rear hip with wrap-round section surrounding exhaust tailpipes and lowered rear number-plate section.
M3 side skirts - offside in good condition with no blemishes, nearside was snapped clean in half in accident (can supply snapped section if desired for re-moulding)
M3 wing mirrors sprayed white
Evo-R vented bonnet - Fibreglass, sprayed black with vent mesh sprayed white, generally fine, minor crack over nearside headlamp.
Rear Sri spoiler - sprayed black, good condition
Boot lid de-badged and flushed
Clear side repeaters fitted
17" Mille Miglia Action alloys - These rims are no longer manufacturered and look mean! The front nearside wheel was damaged beyond repair in the collision, and I managed to locate a single replacement (brand new) which was imported at significcant cost from Holland in December 2005 (before I knew about chassis damage!) Wheels are generally fine, with a few kerb marks here and there. All wheels are fitted with low profile tyres all with some tread left.
SRi standard interior, all in good condition, please note stereo removed. Can include false floor and stealth shelf to house a set of 6x9 speakers.
As I have previously stated the car has no MOT and is currently declared SORN with the DVLA. Car could technically be driven away if you wish.
