2.2 bottom end ?

would a 2.2 bottom end fit on a c20xe head ? just a thought ihad today at work, if they are the same physical size i dont see any problem ? would save having the bottom end bored out, yes/no ?

expect lots of various c20xe questions, some will prob be stupid but im just looking for definative answers to find out how to build a decent power engine

i chap who rallies an astra has a red top head etc with a frontera 2.2 bottom end, should work as long as its a big block.

would save having it bored out i would of thought, or maybe i could get the 2.2 bored out to 2.4/2.5 :D

you can also get a 2.4 frontera bottom end:D

i had a 2.4 vauxhall frontera, well my pearents did when i was about 10, great for a laff, try useing one of those......
infact fup it, stick a v6 in lol 8~)

yea, the 2.2 block is longer, but but apart from that it should fit, bit thred on mig about it somehwhere
