nova gte intake pipe sorted!!! :)

hi all,

i am a genius!! i have fabricated my own intake pipe, so up yours vauxhall.

i recently put a post on here about having problems with my intake pipe. it all started when i went to get my car tuned and found out that my intake pipe was perished and leaking :( went o vauxhall and they ordered a new one in but it didnt have the connector built into it for the air valve pipe. i wasn't happy, but not detered i have made my own intake pipe by adapting the new pipe with the aid of a plumbers merchants... works perfectly and no leaks :cool: :thumb: off to get the car tuned tomorrow i think :D

will get some pics up if anyone is interested. i know people still have gte's so this will prob be quite handy. might go into business making them

Yeh i wouldnt mind a look, mainly to see what your on about Lol i seen the other thread but didnt know what you were on about really and i couldnt be bothered to read most of it, also i like seeing other peoples work so get pics up asap mate:thumb:

whats the part # for the inlet trunking they gave you?? Ive got a spare few of those white breather connection pieces aswell.

GTE in the new issue of Total vauxhall has a metal pipe & part of the rubber hose.

not sure of the part number of the part that they actually gave me, which i used, but, i have used some plumbing bits to make up the breather connection, works a treat and wont leak. i have an old standard pipe that the previous owner had cut a hole in and tried to fit one of the whit connectors, but its s**t, just leaks... will get a pic of it tonight.
