reminds me of my mint 1litre i had a couple of years ago... that was glacier white, i was the second owner from new 39000 miles and some knob wrote it off by ploughing into the back of me as i was turning into the drive :( absolute shame!
nice car tho
that white shell you've got looks exactly like my new shell lol, whats wrong with the red shell ?
is it all structural rot or something because the arches, front panel and slam panel look good
looks good mate.have you still got that light air intake thing? as ill buy that if so??

Rear arches were replaced in Sept 04, the slam panel was done in Dec 05 but the rear chassis legs are shot, as is the rear axle mounts and the battery tray. And for the sake of ?50 for a mint shell, i though why not!
headlight air intake?
Yeah ive still got it, its waiting to be sent to the fibre glass emporium to be replicated at the minute as ill be selling a few via eBay and probably on here.
The engine, front legs, hubs, bailey tank, washer jets and exhaust system went on today, only took about 6 hours between the 2 of us so not that bad really.
Ive got some more pics of todays efforts but cant be @rsed to upload them lol
Mike
ill buy one of those intakes off you them please mate. well have to meet up soon mate as your litterly 10 mins from me lol
yeah sound jbobo ill let you know mate
Today progress was hampered due to sh1te weather! I jacked it in at 8pm due to torrential rain!
Today I... got the newly painted front ARB bolted up, tightend hub bolts and finally put front wheels on then put the split pins in whilst it started pishing down!
And realised ive lost a god damn centre cap. Bugger.
I was wanting to put the manifold on, rad and sort out the coil pack but that never happend!
i definatly want 1 aswell buddy
getting some good progress done there mate, ive just started stripping mine, didnt get much done sunday due to an all mighty hangover !!

Yeah, weather conditions have hampered todays progress so im well pished off to be honest.

Erm, yeah i can if you/me cant get a Mk1 headlight. I dont mean to take the pish but seriously they take ages to make as at the minute there hand made. And with the re-shell there taking a back seat too!
And i have to make original first to get it copied, and ive only got a Mk2 original at the minute.
