View Full Version : **FSE Power boost valve fitting**

right simple one has anybody got a pic of how one is fitted or just one in place on a 1.6i ?

Got one lying about that is for a 1.6 8v apparently and thought i might as well shove it on and have a look, so any pics appreciated.

Any tips or advice, setting up etc other than dont put it on ?! :roll:

Just below the yellow arrow (which has nothing to do with the boots guage)

That wasnt explained very well lol.
Its just above the dizzy cap.

i just fitted mine, will get a pic and put it on tonight for you, it's really simple to fit.

Cheers, thought it was just didn't want to get the wrong tube as it was given to me so came with nothing.

TBH i wouldnt bother fitting one..... it wont get you any gains at all

Not on a standard engine anyway. And also not if you dont get it adjusted properly.

even on a non std engine (and by non std i dont mean just an airfilter and exhaust lol) it wont offer much in the way of usefull gains.... its more a mask for underlying changes that need to be made.

I suggest reading this months Fast Ford tech article about fuel pressure ;)
