i need an induction kit for my 1.3 sr. i want the one that gives the most bhp (i know we are not talking much say 3-8 bhp) what is the best induction kit to go for? i have been told that k+n 57i kit is good, is it?

You need a bolt on filter, not an induction kit. K&N are good.

Induction kits are just for injections, get a bolt on K&N, I have on eon my 1.4sr. very good.
count to 10, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10. You cooked her 9's !!!!!

Bolt-on filters are fine in the summer months, but come Autumn, Winter and Spring you'll find the car suffers from carb-icing a lot.
Make sure you keep onto your standard air box so you can refit that at the first sign of problems.
Alternatively, fit a K&N replacement element, and drill 4 x 1 inch holes underneath your airbox.
This gives you the induction note, the K&N longevity and the hot-air pickup.
