can you successfully run webber 32/34's on a 1.2i and what would be necessary to do this

You'd need a carb dizzy and coil, adaptor plate for a 1.4sr inlet, a 1.4sr inlet, fuel regulator to reduce the fuel pressure etc.

In other words quite a bit, and you'd probably hardly see any power increase tbh. Maybe a few bhp.

thanks anyway mate. not really looking for a power increase but was just interested in what it would take

You would also need swap throttle cable too iirc, and find a manual choke off a carb'd nova and fit that.

tbh for the ball ache involved you might aswell swap the engine for a 1.2 carb lol inwhich case you might aswell use a 1.4/1.6 engine...

just done it for my mate find a scrap yard find a 1.2 carbed engine and get

cam rail with cam and pump on it
distributer with wiring
also new head gasket head bolts instant gasket to rebuild
