ive been offerd a set of nova sport twin 40,s with the manifold.
would these fit my 1400 sr?
im also wondering how much theyd go for usualy as i heard they would fetch around ?250
and ive been offerd them at a decent price.
is there much work involved in a T40 set up and is it expensive?
cheeres

not too sure on price as i bought mine without manifold, however you will need a manifold for the 14nv as its got square ports, or use a c14se head and different manifold like i did
mine were ?200 on manifold with centre linkage kit.

would these fit a mpi head? like an sri head
you'd need the 1.6gte/gsi inlet manifold. but you can sell yoru existing manifold for nearly the same as it is to buy a 1.6 item
And to answer the question, a nova sport inlet wont fit your 1400Sr.

darn, what if i put a 1300 head on? is it the same as a sport?
Ye that would work.
OR a 1.2 carb head, might have to have a look at CR tho with a 1.2 head.

aparently these carbs could do with a rebuild, new seals etc.
is this a home job or would it have to be sent away?
