my 15' vauxhall alloys on my corsa have been battered, the bodyshop damaged one of my alloys so bad, theres lots of dirt sitting in the scratches, so im thinking of just getting them sand blasted black, although i think one of my alloys might be bent, but i very much doubt it!

or i might just buy a set of 16' speedline allesios!

anyway, was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in bham were i can get them done and how much?

cheerz!

Ask your local motor factors if they know of anywhere.

there's a place that does alloy wheel refurbishing etc on the A38 just north of the roundabout underneath spagetti junction (M6 J6)

cheerz for the directions

id prefer to pay someone to do it

if you want a job done properly, pay the proffesionals to do it right!

What Vauxhall alloys are they? You might want to consider just buying a new set if the cost of a refurb outweighs the value of the wheels. That is unless you would like a particular finish, in which case you might have to get it done professionally. I would just give it a go myself. If it ends up rubbish, take it to the pros; if not, you've saved a fair bit of cash.

they are the vectra 15' 5-spokes, im not really skilled with a paintbrush or spray can, im not even going to attempt to paint my rear drums and calipers red, im gona pay someone to do that as well!

the finish i want on my alloys i want shiny, and very smooth!

Tazzy before i did mine i had never sprayed anything, and the cost of proffesional respray and filling put me off so got some cans of hi build primer some chemical metal and produced these babys, all preperation preperation and more prep, then finally spray. There are guides and books to help really is that easy.even put a glitter layer on before the laquer so they shined even more.

always worth having a go yourself, when u spend your own time on things u tend to MAKE sure they are the best they can possibly be, and when your done you know it was all your own work, ist that half the pleasure of having a project?

Exactly and in all honesty if i could afford to get someone to do everything to my car i wouldn't be driving a nova i would be driving a new car that doesn't constantly need anything doing to it LOL

if you want them very smooth, once there painted and dry, use loads of water and high grade paper, i started at 1200 then another above that.
then laquer them.

i used loads of paint on mine just so i could rub them down abit more etc.
