You've got more chance of throwing a rod let alone getting to fit and/or work!

a guy rallying last night has a 2ltr red top head on a 2.2 frontera bottom end. obvoisly this astra had a lot of other mods but it can be done in some cases.
this astra was pushing 200 bhp and sounded like a beast
if it fits give it a go :D

you have no chance for one the nova gsi lump is a small block and the 1.8 and 2.0l is a large block
apart from the 1.8 16v corsa engine which is a small block :)

sounds quite poor tbh.... most reasonably tuned 2.0 XE's will chuck out 200bhp anyway...
oh and CSE, Dont text type or you go bye bye ;)

Rally cars arent all about bhp Stu! They top out at like 100/120mph anyway due to gearing! Its accerleration that they need the most epscially from the line and out of corners
REALLY????? WOW i never knew that
power is the rate of work done, so if you can increase the rate of work done then you are obviously at a gain..... eg you cant really increase the torque of a given engine wihtout increasing the power... DUH

Indeed Stu, its comes hand in hand that when increasing bhp or torque the opposite will go up.
Bhp increase will invetibly increase the torque and vice verser :thumb:
