Unless its a big power XET'd or LE'd Nova I don't think theres enough torque steer to worry about. The steering is fine once you're on the go and parking isn't exactly strenuous, even with 195 tyres. It will be a bit of work to plumb in the pump etc and will make the car heavier :( Unless its a very nice car worth spending the money on, I wouldn't bother.

I'm looking into fitting the EPAS system. I have a rally quick rack on my car which is great fun but is hard work on the arms when parking or in slow moving traffic. By fitting the EPAS column I can hopefuly keep my quick rack and not have to worry about pulling my arms off!

I think the column is worth spending ?150 on. I'd rather spend ?150 on something that will make the car more driveable than ?500+ on set of bling alloys that do nothing more than slow you down.

lmfao its not to control torque steer. its only if your a grade A mincer that you "need" one....

Stuart

if you want a quick rack you have to have the corsa EPAS system. otherwise you can have the fluid version but no quick rack.

iirc martin has a quick rack/slicks/a diff (allbeit a non plate lol) so hes nearly got an excuse but not much of one :p lol

No slicks mate!! Couldn't get the AO48's to fit so had to come off.

Corsa EPAS easy job to do. If i can do it, it cant be hard!!

Nobody mentioned yet that you will need on the EPAS to get the ecu modded. Thats what costs the money. Harry Hockly can mod it for you for ?200!!

I saw that on e-bay earlier in week.

Corsa C one will be more tricky to fit when i looked and spoke to Harry Hockly.

You would need new steering wheel boss to. Corsa B and Nova are same but Corsa C totually different.

Try find one from a 'B' if you can.
Got mine from find a part on net and let them do the leg work and find you one.

draper

thought C and B might be different, i dont want power steering anyway just thought people here might find it helpful, obviously not lol

thing is, what would you wire it into? ok, live to battery, but what about the other wires in the loom?
