QED are well known and respected in the serious engine tuning world.

As for any cam - a lot of tuners get others to make their performance cams. So its not unheard of to find that tuner X and tuner Y may actually have their cams manufactured and even profiled at the same places. Cams are either ground from new blanks or sometimes re-profiled from other cams. Providing the cams are installed and run in properly they aren't generally a component that breaks so your choice needs to come down to what your engine is capable and what you want out of it.

In the case of the XE ( or any 16V) there is another variable which is the setting of the overlap between the 2 cams. Properly set-up std cams in the XE give good results and for milder less tuned applications you probably wont see much improvement for quite a large financial outlay by adding "performance" cams.
