View Full Version : 1400SR High Spec Bottom End

As above, my block won't last another year so I'm on the look out for a decent spec bottom end to replace it with. Would be very interested if it has been reconned, ARP bolts, lightened and balanced etc

Also a reconned CR F13 or what will fit 8v block

Even a standard 1400SR bottom end would be acceptable so I can strip it down and rebuild it!

Must be within the north east though, but willing to travel a bit further or sort a courier for a good spec bottom end!

ok i have an f10 5 speed that took my sri to 16.04 seconds down the pod and was very reliable in good nick and i have a sri bottom end at home that could do with some shells u can have the bottom end free if u buy the box and collect it from linclonshire

hiya mate, i live just outside Blackpool and i have a 1.4 sr block thats done 72k, its a minter, new water pump on it aswell, you can have the block complete with sump for ?40 collected as its in my way, let me know

Ste Porter - Not after an SRi bottom end, just an SR one.
Must be a reconned gearbox, would prefer a F13CR with 4.18 FD

I have a lightened and balanced, wire rung block, that has nice pistons, also have ARP bolts, new shells and piston rings. but its a 1300?
