SRlew came round tonight and took my engine with him. sad to see it go especially as the cars only been back together less than a month.

it only took 2 hours last night to take it out including getting my tools out and tidying up afterwards!!

soon to be replaced by somthing bigger and hopfully better

ah but i know own a beast!

fook me. me and my bro had loads of trouble getting it out of the car! so then put it on a trolley jack and wheeled it round the back. we fooked up a patch of our neighbours tarmac, but we thought meh they wont no it was us. i looked back and saw 2 bloody scratches in the floor right up to our back gate! lol

you know we were saying that we'll go back the same way so we didnt get lost, well we did sort of, bloody signs! and road works!

i would have a 1600 on throttle bodies everyday of the week over a big block, but i'm fed up of throwing money at the car so it will get a 2.0l for now with a diff and carbs coming at a later date. a 1600 on throttles would cost over a grand, then i'd want a diff. the standard 2.0l will go in for the price of my 1400. carbs will go on for the price of the 1600 i sold to baxter. more power without spending anything and i'm pretty sure with a good diff it will handle as good as the car did with a small block and no diff

iv been busy already. just polished up the trumpets and carbs. painting the engine and box when i find a good paint.

i carnt wait to get it in now.
