Mk1 Front End Into A Mk2 Front End Can It Be Done? With Pics Of My New Project!!!

HELLO EVERYONE,
HAVE HAVE JUST BROUGHT MY FIRST PROJECT NOVA A MK1
1.2...
JUST A QUICK ONE IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE FRONT END OF THE MK1 TO A MK2?
IE..THE HEADLIGHTS THE INDICTORS AND THE GRILL AND DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE FRONT WINGS TO INCORPERATE THEM AS THERE A DIFFERENT
SHAPE AS IS THE GRILL GOS UNDER THE HEADLIGHTS AND INDICATORS)
ALSO WOULD I NEED TO REPLACE THE CONECTIONS ON THE HEADLIGHTS ANDINDICTOR POWER LINES AND MOD THE MOUNTINGS OF THE HEADLIGHTS

ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT AND I MIGHT NEED SOME MORE IN THE COMING MONTHS ...:thumb:

To swap it all over you need mk2 headlights, indicators, wings, grille, and bumper and it all just bolts on in the same way, all the light connections are just the same the only difference is the headlights on a mk2 have aim adjustment on them which you wont be able to use, just try to make sure you get both the lights from the same car as they may have been at different angles otherwise lol, good luck mate hope this helps!!!

leave it mk1 they look beter in my opinion get some clears on the frount will look better nice motor by the way

for the advice :thumb: thats a great help i will get both headlights off of the same car then i think a little trip to the breaker and ebay is in order.i need to change the front end timmy because the new bodykit looks better with the mk2 style.:D

i agree - leave it mk1 - perhaps change the front grill to an sr one abd change side indicators to clear ones and wing indicators to ovals nut to change the front end isnt worth it - you'll need to get wings resprayed etc etc etc...

i dont care about having to spray the wings as iam getting the whole car resprayed and i need the front end a mk2 for the body kit

MK1 looks better if your feeling the retro look.
MK2 looks a little more modern.
