tryed the hanye manual method, shouting at it, swearing at it - nothing.

2 flat headed screw drivers behind the casing pushing evenly on both to keep it straight should do the trick

make sure you have removed the woodruff key is there is one lever it with screw driver then sharp tap with hammer if not use a 3 legged puller

i usually spray some wd40 on it pop a screwdriver behind it with a small ammount of pressure put the bolt in the end off crank and tap it gently with a leather hammer usually slackens it off but dont it it HARD you will probley damage your shell if ya do other wise youl have to use a puller

pull funny faces at it ?? always works when im struggling :thumb: yep i even tried that - lol. whats this woodruff key thing? i thought it came out with the cog? i tryed a puller but it wouldnt fit behind the cog. guess i'll keep trying with the screwdrivers but im using a fair bit of force. btw doesnt matter about shells, im replacing them all. ;)
