If you have just passed your test you stand no chance on getting insured on a 2.0.....no dis-respect but not even the modified car insurance companies will touch you.
I just sold this GTE to a 21 year old for ?1200 and his insurance was ?2000 fully comp on a modified nova.

The best thing you can do is bump up your 'no claims' first then think about it........Good Luck :thumb:

Well there's a surprise.....for someone who has just passed there test then I'll eat my hat if he gets insured on a 2.0....good luck
I know these insurance companies are very harsh on young male drivers who want a lot of power in there cars...they really do sting you and I have sympathy for them. I think it's just that little bit easier for women not that it should make any difference mind.
I just got a quote for a 2.0 twin carbed nova pushing power of 189bhp @ the flywheel..........?480 fully comp

I personally don't see the point in spending that much insurance on any car if the car is not worth much
