If they're clean and are in good nick.

Then yes, that's a gooooooooooooood price.

to be honest, i dont know alot about carbs.

look quite clean.

could i use a manifold that weber 40's would sit on?

what is the difference between DHLA and the rest?

DHLA's will run perfectly on a nova engine...

the Webber 40/dellorto 40 inlet manifold is the same.

Bearing in mind you'l have to buy Linkages, Trumpets, Filters, Inlet Manifold and Lowering Bracket, Make a new Slider for the alternator.

Once you got all that done, you'l need someone with half a degree of knowledge to get it running ok !

Then you'l need the carbs Jetted, Choked and Set-up professionally on a rolling road !

Can be done for cheap if you find good 2nd hand bits, or know someone with an RR lol

What engine is it for !?

Take alook at my 1600 T40 thread i just posted below. There are some clear pics of some Dellorto's and everything in there !

Usually if they looks as clean as mine do, and all obvious gaskets seem to be fresh looking. Then they should be ok !

However you never know what they're like inside.

?100 is good if they are clean etc, you could pick up a second hand inlet for around 50quid, but as a whole it will probably cost you around 300-350quid for the whole setup, which is good if you ask me, and is about what i spent.

Worth it just for the noise;)

Always wanted a set of carbs and after looking round, id say ?100 is a good price if there in good nick but as stated above remember all the extra bits you will need, but they are most definately worth it for the noise! .. Cant wait till i got my XE on 45s! lol
