the GSi/GTE one is slighty bigger but to be honest id settle for a replacement 1.4 item.

There about ?50>65 from a motorfactors and most places online

If your getting a new rad anyway I guess it will just come down to cost. If there was say only a tenner in it I would go for the GTE/GSi one.

It certainly wont hurt to upgrade the rad so it's up to you and your wallet really.

will the 1.6 one fit alright then?

what are those copper core ones?

I'm not exactly sure about the science behind it but coppers rads are apparently better at dispersing heat and will keep your engine cooler. They are intended really for engines with a tendancy to overheat so unless you have reall problems stick to a standard rad.

Remember that an engine that is too cold can cause as much damage as an engine that is too hot.

Aluminium & copper cored rads dispears heat faster and last longer as dont rust

the rad fan is different on a GTE / GSI engine so you'll either need a different fan or do a little modding to get some brackets to fit

www.buypartsby.co.uk (http://www.buypartsby.co.uk) do them for about ?45
