Think its true yeah, same as a nova gsi/gte is slightly lower than a base model nova.

so if i lower it 45mm, will this be the equivalent to lowering it about 60mm? as i have heard it is 15mm lower?

thanx

If you get a 60mm kit for a gsi tho, it will actually lower it 45mm.

dont you mean, if i get a 45mm kit it will lower it 60mm?

if i do get a 45mm kit, will i still have to drill the holes 7mm out for the camber mod since the total is -60mm? or do i just drill out 5.5mm??

cheers for the help

i just got the standard suspension off a corsa gsi, and fitted it to my 1.2 8v, and its now 25mm higher :(, cos of not as much weight from engine.

I think this is why, most corsa kits are 40-60mm lowering, but for the gsi most of them are 20mm, becuase they are already slightly lower, but only with a gsi engine in

GSi engine will weigh the same as a Flair,Sri etc etc engine.

Think its also because GSI has things like electric windows etc etc, adding weight.

Im pretty sure if you buy a lowering kit for a GSi it would lower a standard model corsa less, a 60mm gsi kit would lower a standard corsa around 45mm.
As it actually only drops 45mm, but the GSi's extra 15mm from standard=60mm
I think thats right anyway.

so how many mm do i drill out of the top strut fot the camber mod for a -45mm kit?

5.5mm for -45mm

or

7mm because 45+15=60mm?
