gsi skirt clips?????

im buying a set of gsi side skirts and everyone is telling me about getting clips with them and i just wanted to know what do they do and where do they go and do i really need em cheers

nah you dont really need em to be honest

i used tiger-seal to hold mineon and they aint budged yet.

any contact adhesive will do really (no-more-nails etc)

but u will have to mesuare the distances between the slot that the clips clip into, then mark up the cills on the car (try to keep them level) then drill the 2 holes per clip in the cills, then screw the clips on then clip the skirts on.

i did this on my 1st sr work out really well, just couldnt bring myself to take the bump strip off as well, thus leaving the rear arch thingy under the bump strip.

Yeah there there same as Tigra skirt clips :thumb: Its 8 each side iirc

They also use them on corsaB's.

i just put the skirt along side the car then marked were the clips go, doesn't have to be spot on.
also it doesn't sound to good when you come to sell your car that you glued your side skirts on

You can get tigerseal from motor factors, about ?5 a tube.

but once you tiger seal them on, they dont want to come off again!
