Update On Crashed Nova

finally i've got my nova out of the garage today and tried to repair it. i bent the front sill out with some plyers and then noticed something bad

very bad.

the exhaust had rusted itsself awat from the chassie just after me welding it 2 days before the crash and the whole chassie leg has been pushed back. about 2inches. its bent the chassie leg and the engine bay.

but on the good side i put 2 door speakers in and some new seat covers.

If the chassis legs etc are bent, you might as well get another shell.

iff it has bent the chassis legs you would definetly notice, there is a small gap between the front panel and chassis legs anyway, and the damage to the front panel doesn't look to extensive. So i severly doubt the legs bent

I Hope Im Mistaking It 4 The Chassie Leg Anyway.
Its The Leg That Runs From Frount Of The Car To The Bulkhead.
Also How Would I Go About My Exhaust?

so the exhaust hanger bracket has snapped off the rear chassis leg?


iff so you might have to make a new bracket

no its like rusted away.
theres 2 holes now and the bracket is still connected to the exhaust.

i might just scrap the nova and buy a better 1

well unless you can repair it you might aswell, but have you taken any pics of the rear chassis legs?

It was the apparently duct-tape rear lights that stopped me from telling him to scrap it. though the door card is A1.
