i know this sounds stupid, but if you set off a speed camera during the day, would you notice the flash?

not as such coz you cant see the cam in the rear view mirror till your way past it.

The general rule is if it flashes twice youve been done once and it is just a bulb and no camera

Incidently, the devices/camera look alike thingys high up on blue poles that also emit a faint flash at night are traffic flow sensors operated by Trafficmaster who sell gadgets to warn of holdups. I expect you lot know this but i've noticed that a hell of a lot of peeps slow down when they go past them including myself til i found out what they were:-)

it is against the lawfor speed cameras to take a picture of the front of ur car, cause it is against ur civil liberties. i know 1 peep who got off with it cause he refused to tell the police who was driving the car.

I read in Max Power or Fast Car (can't remember which), that you have to be going about 185 mph to go past quick enough to not be caught!
